Look at this snowflake Gino captured with his Canon 40D. Incredible, eh?? Speaking of snow, which it's not here, wedding plans are m-o-v-i-n-g. We lucked out with a very relaxed--and might I say handsome for an older man-- monk. The shrine where our shinto ceremony will be is on a mountain side. One must climb five minutes straight up narrow natural stone steps to reach the offering place. It's 11 a.m. Feb 24. Then we will go to the sea side for some pictures, then change out of the formal garb into play clothes and play seaside with our closest friends and BBQ oysters. At night we'll get dressed up again and go for the reception. The count down to the gala of the year (totally exaggerated) is on.
