Welcome back! If this is your first time here, have a seat and stay awhile. This is an ongoing cultural blog that follows the heart and art of wanderlust. It begins three years ago, just after my first real love --and now my husband -- moved across the world from New York City to Japan to begin to get to know me (oddly, the romance section isn't juicy). It starts a few months after I became a professor at a Japanese college. It starts two years after I opened a small English school in Japan. It starts three years after I moved to Japan, bypasses my 'island girl' days in Guam, but includes enriching cultural tales. And now, this blog is my buddy and my thought pad as I am back in Maryland where Gino is starting a photography business and where I am working for a software company all the while relieving my wanderlust in my home state.
